Bookkeeper

Burger Urge (BU) have been making delicious and juicy burgers for 15 years We believe in making burgers the way they should be, with premium local ingredients, delicious, classic, and on trend recipes.

Reporting to the Group CFO, the Bookkeeper will oversee and be responsible for the financial compliance of Burger Urge and all associated businesses.

This role is accountable for accurate reporting of financial results, managing the company's books, and actioning initiatives.

The Job

Recording transactions such as income and outgoings, and posting them to various accounts
Processing payments
Conducting daily banking activities
Producing various financial reports
Reconciling reports to thirdparty records such as bank statements.
Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
Maintains historical records by filing documents.
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

About You

4+ years' experience in a similar role;
Experience in the hospitality industry is highly desired;
Must be "hands on" and willing to perform any task;
Understanding of XERO, Fathom, Power BI, POS Systems, ASANA or Microsoft Project.
