About The Role

Reporting to the Mechanical and Electrical Manager, the
Mechanical and Electrical Delivery Team Leader will manage and support field teams and subcontractors for
Yarra Valley Water (YVW) such that the delivery of works is conducted safely, efficiently and effectively to industry standards whilst ensuring client KPI compliance is of a high standard.

This role is a
Permanent Full-Time position based out of our
Mitcham depot.

As the successful applicant, some of your core responsibilities will include:

Manage and co-ordinate resources to achieve delivery of work within contractual time frames
Manage and ensure response and rectification target compliance
Effectively manage field crews and subcontractors to meet operational objective including productivity and KPI compliance
Subcontractor management; scheduling, procurement invoices, inductions, licenses and training compliance
Support Reactive & Preventative maintenance works across the YVW network
Establishing and maintain relationships & communications with customers and stakeholders
Manage staff to work safely, productively, efficiently and effectively as an integrated team
Manage all job costings for account accuracy of labour and materials
Ensure time sheets collected, approved and sent to accounts each week
Review work orders daily to ensure classifications accurately reflect work carried out
Minimise cost and maximise productivity

About You

You will have a trade qualification in either Electrician, Mechanical fitter or similar accompanied with ideally 5 years' experience in a supervisory role.

You will also possess:

Strong Leadership & Communication with stakeholders of all levels
Subcontractor and materials management, supply, budget, delivery
White Card
Management with multidisciplined teams ideally in proactive and reactive maintenance
