You will be utilising your network of multi residential builders and developers, with a particular focus on high end, high quality developments.

While you focus on chasing builders and developers, you'll be working closely with your architectural sales consultant, who calls on architects and interior designers to drive specifications with A&D clients, discuss new projects and provide samples and required technical data.

Your responsibilities...

  • Building long term business relationships with leading commercial and multiresidential builders, developers and specifiers
  • Identify and target projects within tier 1 and 2 builders and developers
  • Building a pipeline of high quality sales to convert
  • Holding specifications and negotiation of preferred supplier arrangements
  • Tracking projects in your client portfolio and working closely with your colleagues to convert your specifications into a firm order
  • Work closely your colleagues in architectural sales who are chasing specifications via the A&D community and holding those specifications when your builder wins the work
  • Product presentations to customer groups and key decisionmakers
  • Work crossfunctionally internally to make sure other team members can follow up and close sales with trades working on your client projects
  • Effective use of CRM

You have...

  • Specification sales experience with top their residential and commercial builders (strong networks within highend builders is ideal)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Highly organised, good time management skills and an ability to prioritise effectively
  • Project tracking and followup
  • Problem solving and solutionoriented
  • Good analytical and reporting ability
  • Professional personal presentation and ability to present in front of groups for CPD and product presentations
