We are seeking for
Catering Assistant / Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at
Strathfield Private Hospital working in a
Casual position

We require an experienced Catering/Housekeeping assistant with flexibility & great work ethic to join our friendly team. This is a casual role across both departments with the option of extra shifts when available. We are looking for someone who is dynamic, hardworking and able to think for themselves.


Duties of the role include:

Catering

  • Responsible for the distribution and collection of patients food and beverages, dish washing duties, cleaning duties, basic food preparation when required and assisting the chef
  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness within the department in line with the required Food Safety Plan, relevant HACCP standards and hospital policy, whilst offering high standards of quality and service to customers and patients
Housekeeping

  • To clean and maintain patient rooms and consulting suites
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Attention to detail is a must and you should be able to work to a timeline

About You
Essential

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Flexible to work any shift required
  • Excellent customer service skills
Desirable

  • Experience in food preparation in the health care industry
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Attention to detail, cleaning experience

Requirements
