About the role:

The EL1 Assistant Director Engagement Strategy and Innovation (Digital) is an important team leadership position within the agency and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail.

It will provide the leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for team members and contractors.

The position will exercise a considerable degree of independence to engage in very complex problem solving and issues management within the co-design and engagement branch.

The position will exercise sound decision-making and judgement to produce high level strategy, communications and operational advice and support.

The EL1 Assistant Director Engagement Strategy and Innovation (Digital) is responsible for actively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and may be required to represent and negotiate on behalf of the Agency to advance the Agency's interests across a range of forums.

Duties

Providing specialist and technical advice to Senior Executives on the use of digital technologies to deliver engagement and codesign activities
Providing specialist knowledge and expertise on new and innovative approaches to engaging with people with disability and other stakeholders
Developing, implementing and evaluating digital engagement strategies
Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to improve the way we capture and analyse engagement data and insights to inform decisionmaking
Developing complex policies, plans and strategies that require a detailed analysis of diverse research, data and views
