Your role


The position will play a crucial role in overseeing and addressing critical social media interventions as per established protocols and policies, acting as a central point of accountability and escalation.


What you'll do

As a Manager Marketing and Campaigns you will:

  • Lead the development of social media strategy and campaigns to ensure the effective and efficient use of social media channels
  • Create social media assets to support community engagement, with core responsibility for content editing and calendar scheduling and posting, reviewing and reporting on content performance and optimisation
  • Develop and deliver digital solutions to support the communication and engagement strategies for Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives
  • Manage content ideas and provide editorial support to the Talent Acquisition Team
  • Manage the seamless and onbudget delivery of DCJ Talent Acquisition communications programs and products through effective planning and project management
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and activities to inform current and future approaches, as well as report on emerging trends and risks

What we're looking for
An experienced manager who is motivated by outcomes and building strong relationships.

To be considered for this role, your background and experience must meet the following criteria:


  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant experience, including digital tools, with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
  • You are a strong leader who supports your team and see change as an opportunity to do something differently
  • Ability to prepare accurate and effective communications material while meeting critical deadlines
  • Experience in the development, creation and implementation of social media within a government or large services environment
  • Sound knowledge of online content and social media trends and issues, best practice processes and emerging technologies
  • Experience in effectively managing high profile social media, including management of workflow processes
  • Knowledge and understanding of digital asset management
  • Ability in setting own priorities, and those of any staff/project staff supervised, in alignment with management
