KPMG's CFO Advisory practice leverages the firm-wide expertise in financial markets and treasury management to support senior executives and finance functions develop organisational capability to meet the challenges of a complex and evolving business environment. We have a dedicated

Derivative Advisory team providing commercial insights and tailored solutions on derivative and hedging related technical matters to treasury and finance functions. The team focuses on top tiered ASX listed corporations, government enterprises and multinational national corporations with a strong presence in the resources, energy, financial services and infrastructure sectors.

**Your Opportunity

This would include:

  • Derivative transaction services including valuations, model development and accounting advisory services
  • Hedging strategy analysis, solution design and implementation
  • Derivative valuations and risk analysis
  • Buy / Sell side deal support
  • Financial analysis, policy development and process improvements
  • Writing board papers, reports, proposals and client presentations
**How are you extraordinary?

  • A passion for delivering innovative client solutions using your excellent communication and problem solving skills and experience in project management
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications including CA (or equivalent) or CFA coupled with relevant experience in a treasury, advisory or assurance in Professional Services or industry.
  • A strong understanding of financial markets and treasury and finance environments.
  • Experience in valuing interest rate, foreign exchange and commodity derivatives and/or technical background in implementing or providing quality assurance over hedge accounting processes will be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve new and technically challenging problems, either independently or as part of a team.
**Qualifications
**We are looking for applicants that have relevant tertiary qualifications including a CA or CPA or equivalent (or ability to obtain a CA or CPA)
