Exciting new Data Governance Analyst role with an industry leader in Melbourne

  • 6 month initial contract with view to extend
  • Hybrid role based out of Melbourne CBD
  • Rates up to $1000 per day


Opus Recruitment Solutions have partnered with a dynamic industry leader in the Enterainment space who are rapidly scaling and hardening their Data Governance posture and uconducting a maturity uplift of their Data Platform.

This role will play a critical part in supporting the delivery of their Data Governance program, and be responsible for the implementation of effective policies, frameworks and standards.


Working closely with various business stakeholders, you will contribute to the development and execution of strategies to enhance Data Quality and Accessibility, optimising their Data Ecosystem and ensuring Data Integrity.


Key Responsibilities:

Influence & Delivery: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and implement data management processes, policies, and standards.

Data Management: Contribute to the development of data life-cycle management processes and assist in creating policies and standards for data quality and accessibility.

Data Quality: Work with business stakeholders to identify Critical Data Elements and establish baseline Data Quality requirements.

Technical Competencies: Leverage your experience in Data Governance frameworks to implement successful data governance models (DAMA BoK preferred)


You will have:


  • Previous experience in Data Governance and Management frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience in policy writing, process definition, and implementing data governance models.
  • Ideally familiar with metadata management, data quality, and data stewardship tools and platforms.
  • Understanding of relevant frameworks is advantageous.

This will be an initial 6 month contract and is a hybrid role based out of Melbourne CBD. Interviews are starting ASAP and daioly rates between $ per day are on offer for this role.
