The Position

St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals are co-located in the same facility and opened in 2015. The hospitals provide both public and private services for people living in Perth's eastern suburbs and nearby regional areas. Midland is one of our busiest hospitals, with demand for public services consistently increasing every year, making it a dynamic and fast-paced environment to work in. A lot of opportunities to expand and enhance your clinical or leadership skills are available. The hospital includes an Accident and Emergency Department, critical care unit, mental health unit, and maternity ward.


This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and supportive team in the role of
Coordinator Administrative Services. **This position manages the daily operations of Administrative Services for Ward, Reception/Switchboard and the service experience by key stakeholders.

The position also provides the key point of contact for Managers to assist in the provision of the accuracy of health record systems and health information in accordance with accreditation, standards and relevant legislation.


This position is being offered on a Full-Time basis, working 38 hours per week.

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential and should be addressed when completing the selection criteria._
  • A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in effective team coordination within the Health Care Industry.
  • Experience in computerised patient administration systems, advanced use of word processing, spread sheets and databases.
  • The ability to anticipate customer needs, change goals and direction quickly and multitask.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate and develop a number of multidisciplinary team's.
  • Excellent attention to detail with high quality standards.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced time management and organisational skills.
  • High level analytical and problem solving skills.

Salary: $94,744 to $98,193, plus 11% superannuation
