Perth Regional Field Services is a key function within Water Corporation that supports the critical works that ensure we keep our customers water running.

***To assist us in providing the most efficient services to our customers we have reviewed our structure to enable us to better provide preventative maintenance as well as unplanned works.


What you will do


As the Civil Operations Manager you will lead the delivery of district water and wastewater services, ensuring they are customer focussed, achieve safety and environmental goals, and meet financial objectives.


You will manage the effective operation and maintenance of district assets and play a big part in the strategic leadership and direction of the section.

As this is a newly created role, you will have the opportunity to shape it in line with business needs.


  • Lead and manage the delivery of compliant water and wastewater services for the district in accordance with corporate asset management plans and regulatory requirements
  • Promote a safety culture across the business ensuring all activities comply with safety requirements, legislation, Codes of Practice, guidelines and ethical standards
  • Build and maintain relationships and have the ability to influence and negotiate with both internal and external stakeholders who are critical to supporting the delivery of planned work
  • Provide strong leadership that engages, motivates and inspires the service delivery team to deliver high performance in an achievement driven culture
  • Manage and report on business and financial performance for the district including operating and maintenance costs, efficient use of resources and performance

About you


You have experience leading a business function in an operational environment assisting you to hit the ground running while building your newly formed team.

You will drive change, building positive momentum while ensuring the change is considered and effective.

***Previous Experience

  • Tertiary level qualification relevant business
    OR **trade qualification
  • Experience Leading and developing a large team in an operations environment
  • Experience in the water industry
    OR in a largescale workforce planning for an infrastructurebased organisation
