Cabrini Technology Group is a leading and fast growing independent provider of specialist technical services to the healthcare, government and enterprise sectors and is a wholly owned division of Cabrini Health Limited which also owns and operates private hospitals, rehabilitation and palliative care facilities.

Cabrini Technology Group currently has a staff of around 500 working across Australia and New Zealand. It shares the mission and values of Cabrini Health Limited and operates as a not for profit organisation.


Using a sophisticated mobile computer job based systems, the role includes electronic acknowledgement of jobs, updating and maintaining service and equipment information.

A key success will be the ability to manage client relationships, be caring and responsive while finding the best technical solution to each job presented.

The role will also include an element of scheduled routine maintenance program to our hospital and community-based clients.


To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Trade or practical skills relating to electromechanical repairs;
  • Automotive or industrial electrical experience relevant;
  • A good understanding of low voltage electrics, motors and battery systems desirable;
  • Competence with power tools and electrical test equipment;
  • Strong problem solving skills;
  • The ability to work in the field with limited supervision;
  • A good level of physical fitness and the ability to lift and move equipment (with appropriate lifting aids);
  • Friendly demeanour and excellent communication skills;
  • An organised and proactive approach to work, with good time management skills;
  • A sympathetic and caring approach.


Examples of assistive technology includes powered and manual mobility aids (such as wheelchairs and electric scooters), hospital beds and operating tables, patient lifting equipment, alternating air mattress systems and patient transport and care equipment.

This role will suit someone with general mechanical skills and ideally living in the Ballarat area.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a National Police Check, a NDIS Screening Check and a Working with Children Check.
