The Communication Support Officer is a newly developed and valued role within the Communications and Engagement department.

Responsible for providing support to a variety of tasks across the team, your success will underpin the department as a whole.


You will assist with administrative tasks, content creation, support graphic design collateral, help with events and provide assistance on preparing vital presentations and reports.

The Communications Support Officer plays an important role in Barwon Water's delivery of best-practice communications and engagement to our customers and within the community focussed on water sustainability and security and regional prosperity, to achieve the visions and objectives of our ambitious Strategy 2030.

About you


You are starting your career as a Communications and Engagement professional, possibly recently qualified or graduated, who enjoys collaboration and being part of a fast paced team.

Able to multitask, you thrive when given a task and are comfortable to work autonomously or as part of a team.

You will have strong communication skills and capability to problem solve on the fly. Working with the Communication and Engagement department, you will be enjoy growing lasting and productive relationships across the business.


Your skills will enable and support the department to communicate, educate and engage with our community and other stakeholders in a meaningful way.

You will be motivated to grow and see the business achieve our ambition.
