Centurion is seeking a Driver Development Trainer to join our team, on a full-time basis, located at our Perth Airport Depot.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Complete verification of competencies on drivers with MC Licence
  • Prepared to undertake long distance, on road training & assessment as required, assessments are undertaken predominantly with double road trains.
  • Provide direction and support trainees to allow continuous improvement
  • Develop training needs analysis to ensure all aspects of driver competency are covered
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant workplace health & safety requirements and road transport laws

Skills & Experience

  • Hold a WA MC non restricted drivers' licence
  • Hold a TAE40116 or TAE4012
  • Hold or prepared to obtain a DOT Blue Book instructors credentials
  • WA Fatigue Management Certificate and good knowledge of fatigue management
  • Hold a current high risk forklift licence or be willing to obtain
  • Have experience with restraining ugly freight.
  • Hold a current DG Drivers Licence, or be willing to obtain one
  • Hold a current Security Card, or be willing to obtain one
  • Hold or willing to obtain a Class 1 HIEX drivers licence, or be willing to obtain one
  • Be computer literate with Microsoft suit (Word, Power Point, Excel)
  • Ability to work in a small team and build relationships with our Trainees
