Personal Assistant to Director and Deputy Director of Medical Imaging

Full time fixed term position until 21/10/2024:


  • 80 hours per fortnight with monthly paid day off and generous leave entitlements

  • The department of Medical Imaging at the Royal Melbourne Hospital is one of the largest imaging services in Victoria, providing an essential clinical service to RMH inpatients and outpatients as well as private patients from across the state.


The department employs over 350 staff across a range of clinical and non-clinical disciplines, undertaking over 200,000 imaging studies each year across a range of modalities including CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound.


Your new role:


  • Assist the overall coordination of management activities on behalf of the Department of Medical Imaging.
  • Management of timesheets and RosterOn for medical staff.
  • Recruitment support to the Director and Deputy Director of Imaging for recruitment of medical and management positions, including the management of erecruits and scheduling of interviews. Assistance with contract variations and terminations.
  • Provide administrative support, including drafting of an agenda and minutes for the Radiology partners meeting and Imaging Executive Committee and other meetings as required.

  • You have welldeveloped interpersonal, verbal, written and organisation skills.
  • You have strong IT skills and are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • You demonstrate the following characteristics: initiative, proactive, highly developed problemsolving skills, ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.

  • You demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning.
