We are currently seeking a talented Financial Planning Analyst to join the team in the Brisbane CBD head office, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

In this crucial role, you will:

Shape the company's future by supporting major corporate decisions through budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
Provide comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analyses to evaluate the company's progress towards its goals.
Assess business trends, review past performance, and anticipate potential challenges to forecast future financial results.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and maintaining financial models and forecasts for the company's operations.
Supporting project tendering and estimating efforts.
Collaborating with departments to prepare and consolidate budgets and forecasts.
Creating internal and external reports for executive leadership, the Board, and market release.
Conducting variance analysis and presenting insights to support decisionmaking.
Exploring growth opportunities and mapping out capital expenditure plans.
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

A relevant accounting or finance qualification or equivalent (CA, CPA, or CFA) and at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
A strong understanding of accounting standards and capital management.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
The capability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with integrated ERP systems (e.g., Greentree).
