THE OPPORTUNITY
We are now seeking a Field Operations Supervisor to join our South Australian operations team to service our Coles branded partners - Based in Western Australia.
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager your key responsibilities will see you:- Represent the company in a professional and competent manner and develop strong working relationships within City and with the Coles team.
- Build strong relationships with all store brand managers to ensure stores are maintained in a safe and operationally efficient manner.
- Oversee the technical team to monitor the delivery of planned preventative maintenance to required quality standards and timeframes, and that reporting is completed as required.
- Ensure that the technical team comply with company policies and procedures, legislation, regulations, standards and industry codes, and that audits are undertaken to check compliance.
- Identify and address compliance incidents and complete comprehensive reporting within required timeframes.
- Conduct ongoing field inspections and scheduled site audits annually.
- Work closely with, and support your technical team, Regional Operations Managers and key contacts across the business to improve delivery and performance.
- Liaise effectively with contractors to ensure a beneficial outcome for the store. Provide support and follow the process through to hand over and signoff of works.
- Maintain availability 24/7 to provide telephone support for works and attend critical situations as required.
To be considered for this role you will have / be:
- Trade or business qualification & a min of 5 years' experience working in facility management environment
- Good technical knowledge of building systems (electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing etc.)
- Experience in supervising the work of other Team Members is desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships
- Be available on call for after hours
- Driver's licence
