About the role
As the Regional Manager, you will drive and maintain strategic business planning activities to develop competitive strategies, joint objectives, supporting activities and a monitoring plan with the key brokers focusing on achieving joint growth.
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will
- Position TravelCard as a strategic partner working together side by side with Brokers & ARs
- Develop joint strategies and set objectives with Brokers & ARs, to build their business.
- Motivate and mentor your team a team of BDMs
- Contribute to the business and professional development of the BDM Teams in your Region and channel distribution activities
- Assume Underwriting authority for your region
- Ensure that every Broker interaction with TravelCard is seen as a genuine revenuegenerating opportunity and a part of an outstanding broker journey
What we're looking for
- Solid understanding and experience directly managing relationships with 3rd party distribution channels (i.e., brokers) with a proven track record of establishing and/or enhancing channel performance
- Leadership & management experience, including coaching, mentoring and motivating effective teams to exceed targets and deliver outstanding customer journey
- Proven success in customer/broker acquisition & satisfaction
- Commercial understanding of the general insurance market, products and underwriting
- Demonstrated experience developing business strategies, objectives and activities
- Proven experience building and Proven experience training staff and brokers including presenting and facilitating
- A selfstarter with a desire and the ability to develop constructive ideas
- Strong presenting and facilitating skills
