Our Clients have been providing quality services to their clients in WA and pride themselves on their quality, professionalism, and people.

Our Client is known for their ability to fabricate almost any structure up to 10 tonnes from all types of metals and alloys.

We are currently recruiting
a qualified Toolmaker to join their team
for Ongoing Perth based work

DUTIES

  • Using instruments such as calipers, slip gauges, height gauge, micrometers, dial indicators for verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of press tool component fabrication as well as finished parts for conformance to specifications.
  • Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, fixtures and tools, using machine tools and hand tools.
  • Conduct test runs with completed tools or dies to ensure that parts meet specifications, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, hand sketches or specifications to plan sequences of operations for fabricating components, dies, or assemblies.
  • Assist with tooling modifications, as required.
  • Ensure that tooling is properly maintained within manufacturing and engineering standards.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Trade qualifications with a Certificate in Tool Making/Machining.
  • Experience working in a tool room environment.
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Have a good eye for detail
  • A contactable reference
