The NDIS

Your Opportunity

Based in Rosny Park Hobart, as the Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning, leading, managing, and developing a service delivery team to execute high quality and contractually compliant services to a wide range of individuals throughout our local communities.

This role will offer a level of autonomy and will require a high level of organisational skills, teamwork & collaboration, and you will have considerable experience managing a diverse team.

Your Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of approx. 10 direct reports
Manage and allocate participant workloads relative to requirements, capacity, and capability
Support Area Managers with meeting contractual requirements across the service areas
Engage with local communities and develop effective positive stakeholder relationships across the area
Provide direct service delivery to individuals as required
Ongoing development of the service through continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements for Success
With a significant background in Human Services and/or Disability sectors, you will be confident in your team management and assessment processes

Other requirements include:

Minimum Diploma qualification in allied health, social work, human services or equivalent
35 years' experience in disability services, human services, allied health, community services or equivalent
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams
Experience in provision of strengths based/goal based planning, personcentred and information and referral services
Compelling experience in staff supervision of a service delivery team
Demonstrated ability to deliver service outcomes on time and in compliance with funding requirements
Strong ability to develop and maintain effective, positive relationships with key stakeholders
Experience in budget and financial management
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated interest in community and social outcomes
Lived experience of disability, encouraged
A personal alignment with the values of Mission Australia
NDIS Worker Screen Clearance
Full driver licence with no restrictions
