The NDIS

Your Opportunity


Based in Rosny Park Hobart, as the Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning, leading, managing, and developing a service delivery team to execute high quality and contractually compliant services to a wide range of individuals throughout our local communities.

This role will offer a level of autonomy and will require a high level of organisational skills, teamwork & collaboration, and you will have considerable experience managing a diverse team.


Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of approx. 10 direct reports
  • Manage and allocate participant workloads relative to requirements, capacity, and capability
  • Support Area Managers with meeting contractual requirements across the service areas
  • Engage with local communities and develop effective positive stakeholder relationships across the area
  • Provide direct service delivery to individuals as required
  • Ongoing development of the service through continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements for Success
With a significant background in Human Services and/or Disability sectors, you will be confident in your team management and assessment processes


Other requirements include:

  • Minimum Diploma qualification in allied health, social work, human services or equivalent
  • 35 years' experience in disability services, human services, allied health, community services or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams
  • Experience in provision of strengths based/goal based planning, personcentred and information and referral services
  • Compelling experience in staff supervision of a service delivery team
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver service outcomes on time and in compliance with funding requirements
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain effective, positive relationships with key stakeholders
  • Experience in budget and financial management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated interest in community and social outcomes
  • Lived experience of disability, encouraged
  • A personal alignment with the values of Mission Australia
  • NDIS Worker Screen Clearance
  • Full driver licence with no restrictions


Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
