to learn more about us. - St Josephs School Bracken Ridge is seeking a
Groundsperson with a genuine passion for their work to deliver a range of services for the upkeep, maintenance and development of our school grounds.
Duties include:
- Minor landscaping work;
- Maintaining clean and tidy school grounds;
- Routine trade and nontrade maintenance and repairs;
- Providing feedback into planning, preparing and development of school grounds;
- Liaising with onsite contractors; Inventory management for grounds supplies and materials;
- Support school security systems;
- Liaise with various internal and external personnel on issues of lost property and damage to facilities;
- Assist with setting up significant school events; and
- Compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
You will also have a good work ethic and seek to achieve quality work whilst maintaining the highest level of safety.
To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
