  • St Josephs School Bracken Ridge is seeking a
    Groundsperson with a genuine passion for their work to deliver a range of services for the upkeep, maintenance and development of our school grounds.

Duties include:

  • Minor landscaping work;
  • Maintaining clean and tidy school grounds;
  • Routine trade and nontrade maintenance and repairs;
  • Providing feedback into planning, preparing and development of school grounds;
  • Liaising with onsite contractors; Inventory management for grounds supplies and materials;
  • Support school security systems;
  • Liaise with various internal and external personnel on issues of lost property and damage to facilities;
  • Assist with setting up significant school events; and
  • Compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
Ideally you will have previous experience in a groundskeeping role, preferably in a school environment.

You will also have a good work ethic and seek to achieve quality work whilst maintaining the highest level of safety.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
