About the Team

  • Our Product team is the beating heart of MYOB. From discovery through to delivery plus Data and Insights, it's made up of a broad and multidisciplined group of specialists focused on designing products that help our customers optimise their business potential and creating bestinclass customer and user experiences.

A bit about the space:


  • You'll be helping to deliver bestinclass Financial Services workflows to our SME and Enterprise customers.
Our team is looking for a Product Designer to explore changing customer behaviour and its impact on financial offerings. This role requires excellent UX, strategy, and service design skills. The ability to balance multiple stakeholders and be comfortable thinking big, starting small, and failing fast.

  • Our designers cover a lot of ground

They:
- want to understand our customers and are happy to use different research techniques to do it
- get their team involved to make sense of the findings
- design in various levels of fidelity
- seek critique and feedback to help improve themselves and their designs
- collaborate and communicate well with other team members in product management and engineering
- test ideas, concepts, and designs early and often
- consider our customer's full journey from start to finish


The skills:


  • Demonstrated experience in digital product design
  • Experience within financial services is advantageous but not crucial
  • Research and discovery techniques
  • Strategic and Service design
  • Product or Digital UX design
  • Interaction design
  • Information Architecture
  • Design validation/usability testing
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Ability to work with appropriate design tools (Figma, Miro, etc)
  • Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills working within (and across) crossfunctional teams
