We currently have a unique opportunity as a Support Engineering Manager.

Your prime responsibility will be providing technical expertise, guidance and advice for the delivery of Sustainment and Change Management for a number of large projects.

In your new role, you will create documentation and deliver training to the organization to to underpin the business's delivery and strategy.

It requires a blend of technical knowledge in sustainability and change management, with a strong focus on Stakeholder engagement.


Key responsibilities will be:


  • Responsible for the provision of guidance, advice and recommendations relating to the delivery, development and maintenance of the business' Supportability capability
  • Creating a world class Sustainment model to provide a unified consistent approach to Sustainment and Change Management across the wider BAE Systems organisation
  • Developing and delivering training plans across BAE Systems major projects
  • Liaising with endusers and various stakeholders to identify business opportunities, determine Sustainment needs, and objectives
  • Building and maintaining key relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Keeping abreast of current industry trends in the specialist field and/ or technology domain, and capabilities within the organisation, including global expertise
  • Extensive Sustainment and Change Management experience
  • ILS and in service support experience would be beneficial
  • Substantial leadership experience managing teams
  • An Engineering background, ideally some relevant qualifications
  • A focus on safety in the workplace
  • Strong Stakeholder engagement experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Baseline clearance ideally.
