Our client:
This is a rapidly growing international IPP with a focus on Australia and Asia. Dedicated to developing, delivering and managing successful utility-scale BESS, Solar and hydrogen projects in AU.

About the Role:
As the Head of Development you will have a generous budget to play with. This role will suit a senior development manager that is ready to step up and into a dynamic team.

The first tasks at hand:

Developing clear project development strategies, goals, plans, processes and resources that underpin the shortterm and longterm business ambitions.
Build out the Development team and lead the department to achieve our ambitions of 6GW by 2030.

Skills and Experience:

Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as engineering, environment, science or businessrelated fields.
Proven experience in power or renewable energy project development

including the identification of sites, negotiation of land leases or options, securing grid connections and planning and environmental approvals.

Strong track record and deep experience in largescale project development and project management within the renewable energy sector, with a strong bias towards Australian solar and battery projects.

Required:

Current Driver's License and willingness to travel nationally and internationally when needed. 30% work travel can be typical for this role.
Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship is required.
