Within our Industrial & Waste Services division we provide total waste management business solutions to our customers including industrial cleaning services such as non-destructive digging, concrete demolition, high pressure water blasting, vacuum loading, shutdown services, pipe, drain and tank cleaning, emergency spills response and CCTV.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in this newly created role at our St Marys Branch in Sydney.


Your new role
In addition to having a genuine passion for planning and coordinating, you will also bring the following skills and experience to the role:

  • Delegation of repair and maintenance tasks to the workshop and contractors
  • Manage and raise work orders to completion for all repair and maintenance tasks
  • Track completion of work orders and maintain databases
  • Raise purchase orders for external maintenance providers, parts and supplies
  • Maintenance compliance in the Sydney municipal fleet

Your skills and experience
Reporting to the National Maintenance Services Manager you will perform duties and be responsible for:

  • Experience working within a maintenance support team or workshop environment
  • Planned maintenance knowledge within the JD Edwards environment
  • Demonstrated background in a mechanical or industry related type role
  • Knowledge of regulatory body requirements in relation to heavy vehicles (State transport authorities, Environment and Safety authorities)
  • Mechanical aptitude, high discipline, and attention to detail
  • Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
