About You:


Are you someone who has demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills across a multi-disciplinary environment with the capacity to undertake effective negotiations with major stakeholders and manage conflict with successful outcomes? Then this role may be for you.

In this role you will have experience in managing staff and contractor performance and fostering development of staff.


About the Role:


The primary objective of Biomedical Engineering is to assure the safety, effectiveness, availability and compliance of biomedical technology used directly for patient diagnosis, treatment or monitoring for or in connection with the public hospital and healthcare facilities of SA Health.


As the Technical Manager you report to the NALHN Biomedical Engineering Manager and be accountable for the supervision of a multidisciplinary team responsible for a range of timely plant, engineering and trade related remedial and maintenance services, advice, assistance and guidance in relation to critical biomedical devices and systems.


To be eligible for the position at
TGO5 classification, you must hold a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant technical discipline.


To be eligible for the position at
PO3 classification, you must hold a Degree level qualification in Biomedical Engineering or similar field with eligibility for full membership into one of the appropriate professional bodies.
