The Role

The Pharmacy Procurement Officer will support the development and implementation of sourcing and purchasing activity.

Key responsibilities:

Implements appropriate Pharmaceutical contracts and arrangements in regards to purchasing Pharmaceuticals.
Monitors credits and backorders.
Monitors stock levels and conducts stock takes.
Prepares outofstock and discontinued pharmaceuticals reports fortnightly and distributes them to relevant staff appropriately.
Follows up on urgently required pharmaceuticals and communicates appropriately.

About you

You will have:

Health industry knowledge and particularly pharmaceutical experiences will be a significant advantage.
Experience in supporting users of P2P would be useful.
Commercial acumen with good negotiation skills with multiple parties to achieve the desired outcomes.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills and selfmotivated to work independently.
Proficient in Office 365 suite inc. Excel and PowerPoint.
