The Role

The Pharmacy Procurement Officer will support the development and implementation of sourcing and purchasing activity.


Key responsibilities:

  • Implements appropriate Pharmaceutical contracts and arrangements in regards to purchasing Pharmaceuticals.
  • Monitors credits and backorders.
  • Monitors stock levels and conducts stock takes.
  • Prepares outofstock and discontinued pharmaceuticals reports fortnightly and distributes them to relevant staff appropriately.
  • Follows up on urgently required pharmaceuticals and communicates appropriately.
About you


You will have:

  • Health industry knowledge and particularly pharmaceutical experiences will be a significant advantage.
  • Experience in supporting users of P2P would be useful.
  • Commercial acumen with good negotiation skills with multiple parties to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills and selfmotivated to work independently.
  • Proficient in Office 365 suite inc. Excel and PowerPoint.
