To be successful in this position you need to demonstrate;

Essential:


  • Work Safely in the Construction Industry Certificate (White Card)
  • Sound knowledge of safe work practices
  • Basic written and numerical skills and the ability to provide information to other employees and customers\
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated practical experience using road maintenance and construction equipment, hand tools and minor plant equipment
  • Current "C" Class West Australian Driver's License

Desirable:


  • Basic Traffic Management Certificate
  • Traffic Controller Certificate
  • Advanced Traffic Management Certificate
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to utilize a tablet independently
  • Knowledge of road and drainage maintenance and construction techniques
  • Demonstrated competency in undertaking specified laboring duties for civil projects and maintenance tasks
  • Substantial experience driving a variety of trucks and plant
  • Current "MR" Class West Australian Driver's License
  • Current "HR" Class West Australian Driver's License
  • Relevant plant/equipment operation certificate
  • First Aid Certificate

$62, $73,500.00 per year
