    Description

    Talent International is working in partnership with our government client in seeking an Enterprise Data Steward / Data Governance Specialist.

    The Role:

    • Support the Business Divisions / Branch (Spoke) and project teams with SME input and advisory for consistent implementation of Data Governance and Management Framework across the cluster.
    • Work with leadership to identify data domains and domain leads, owners and stewards to assists in the development and delivery of appropriate data governance and management enablement across the cluster.
    • Facilitate sharing and adoption of data governance and management best practices through governance forums and committees within the division/branch.
    • Work to define classification of data and critical data elements in area of domain and division with data owner and ensure that they know how to treat each element
    • Work with data owners and stewards to help them understand and implement / embed government enterprise data governance and management frameworks and processes.

    Key Criteria

    • Demonstrated experience in implementing Data Governance and Data Management including exposure to data governance tools such as Collibra
    • Strong business communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Prior government experience – highly desirable
