About the role:


As COEX continue to grow across the nation developing several innovative recycling solutions for Australian's, they have created a new opportunity for an Account Lead - Gold Coast to join their busy team on an initial 6 month fixed term contract.

The purpose of the Account Lead is to engage with a range of stakeholders including body corporations, multi-unit dwellings and other types of organisations to develop partnerships for mutual benefit while ensuring existing agreements and compliance is maintained.


This role will be key in ensuring that our Strategic Initiatives are successful by presenting value add recycling propositions through Environmental-Social-Economical benefits, understanding recycling requirements for the businesses/customers and planning and implementing recycling solutions through to working cross-functionally to support the set up the infrastructure.


Key responsibilities:


  • Lead the execution of the strategic initiative for Multi-Unit Dwellings which involves engagement with stakeholders including body corporations, multiunit dwellings and other types of organisations to develop partnerships.
  • Lead the identification and engagement of new opportunities through a range of account management techniques.
  • Create supporting documents including management of contracts and ensure all administration is compliant.
  • Create and maintain strong foundations with operators to support existing partnerships and newly created partnerships.
  • Work cross functionally to provide the best possible outcomes and value adds for partnerships.
  • Solve problems for clients and customers by developing innovative and tailored solutions.
  • Resolving client complaints in a professional manner and reporting them to management as required.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure timely communication.
  • Meet and exceed KPIs as set by the strategic plan.
  • Be a brand ambassador and show genuine interest within the environmental space.

About you:


  • Proven experience as an account manager or similar position.
  • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.
  • Strong contract management and contract negotiating skills, including entering into and the ongoing administration of complex commercial agreements.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving business outcomes including revenue growth initiatives.
  • Experience with pricing and developing pricing frameworks.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders and growing portfolio of suppliers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organisational levels.
