We have an exciting opportunity for a Software & Systems Manager, based at one of our national branch locations in QLD, VIC or SA.

Reporting to the National Systems & Service Manager, the Software and Systems Manager is responsible for developing and managing Diverseco's software & support capability for the Measurement Division.

The role is designed to ensure the provision of pre-sales and customer support across new and existing installations and a driver of the introduction of new products, solutions, and technology.

What you will bring:

Comprehensive background in IT systems & software implementation and project management.
3+ years' experience in leadership (people management) role.
Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in software, instrumentation, and measurement.
A cando attitude to your work and efforts.
A strong desire to learn and excel in the industry.
Excellent listening, comprehension, and communication skills.
A current Australian driver's licence.
A valid right to live and work in Australia.

What you will do:

Participate and drive the development and launching of Diverseco's NextGen Weighbridge software, including engagement with partners and development of launch materials for salespeople
Develop and manage the process for upgrades and discontinuation of legacy software installations
Provide presales support (including solution design, demonstrations, scope of works documentation, etc) for salespeople with new sales opportunities
Carry out installations of new software solutions (according to defined SoWs) and assist other systems technicians and/or service technicians with installations as required
Be responsive in troubleshooting systems & software issues and performing corrective maintenance in breakdown situations
Be prepared to travel to the locations of the work as determined by workload and customer location at the time of service (Where possible support should be provided online/remotely).
Establish systems/software support desk for logging of calls and prioritisation, allocation of jobs, and sharing of workload via D365.
