Senior Workers Compensation Claims Expert Needed To Lead A Team

What you will thrive on in this role:

Supporting your team, of up to 15, in their daily activities of managing workers' compensation claims
Using your expertise in workers compensation claims management and legislation to support with more involved clients and claims
Recruiting new team members and then taking them through their career journey
Assist with the ongoing development of team members, working together with the Technical and Injury Management Advisor
Reviewing claims portfolios and meeting clients face to face to discuss their performance and any issues
Ensuring individual employees are supported, and balancing this with business requirements
Reviewing team members' performance, providing feedback, ensuring their progress and success in their role
Contribute to the strategic plan for the division
Support other teams during times of absence, and increased workload
Analysing data and reports, identifying trends and improvement areas
Taking part in and leading projects

What you will enjoy bringing to this role:

Experience within either a workers' compensation leadership, IMA or Technical Advisor role
Your strong leadership skills and experience, mentoring and coaching team members will be your forte
A passion for meeting business objectives and developing ongoing improvements
Honed analytical skills, able to review financial data and interpret results and reports
Outstanding problemsolving skills, able to find the relevant information and make sound decisions
A flexible approach, with the ability to identify and support change
Outstanding communication skills
