Huon Aquaculture Group Ltd. produces around 36,000 tonnes of fresh Atlantic salmon and ocean trout annually and is recognised globally as being a premium producer of fresh and smoked salmon products.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our Parramatta Creek Processing and Smokehouse facility is located 15 minutes from Devonport and processes all of the Salmon and Ocean Trout that we farm in Tasmania.

From here, product is distributed across Tasmania, Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

ABOUT YOU
Highly motivated with great leadership skills, you will be looking to take the next step in your career. You will have high attention to detail and a professional and systematic approach to your work.

You will have a proactive attitude, always looking for ways to improve and develop systems and procedures, while maintaining a hands-on approach in leading and developing your team.

Your ability to deliver effective training to members of your team, and lead by example will be key to your success.

Enjoying early morning starts, you will have strong interpersonal and organisational skills.

Experience in leading small to medium sized teams in a processing environment will be highly regarded, as will a thorough understanding and awareness of WH&S and Quality Assurance practices.
