We support people with physical, intellectual and multiple disabilities and developmental delays to achieve their goals Scope is a registered provider under the NDIS and delivers a range of services including supported independent living, short term accommodation (respite), lifestyle options and therapy across 100 locations in Victoria.


About The Role


Scope has an exciting and unique opportunity for an Information and Records Management Officer to work within our Knowledge Management Department.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide records management advice, promoting and communicating good records management practice across Scope NSW and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Provide records management services and support including liaising with business stakeholders and the records management service provider to ensure records are securely and effectively transferred, archived or destroyed in line with the records management procedures and required timeframes
  • Support the physical records consolidation project
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external business stakeholders.

About You
We are looking for a team player who has:

  • Relevant qualification in records management and/or demonstrated experience in a formal record keeping environment
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements and records management practices in the identification and sentencing of records
  • Skills and experience in supporting the use of an electronic document records management system (EDRMS)
  • Effective communication skills (verbally, written or visual form)
  • Highly developed soft skills/interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
