Our customer experience officers (CxOs) operate out of the GovHub in brand new offices in the heart of Ballarat, located close to transport and many food outlets.

About the role
The Customer Service Officer-Call Centre is a new position created to support our continued growth.

The key functions of this role include:

  • Delivering personalised experiences to our customers across multiple digital and voice channels, handling inbound phone calls and webforms.
  • Answering a wide variety of queries in a timely, effective, and efficient manner.
  • Logging and managing Salesforce Cases.
  • Following the support escalation processes where necessary.
About you


You will have:


  • Strong Customer service experience, dealing with customers face to face, over the phone or digitally.
  • Exceptional problem solving skills with the ability to think outside of the box
  • Exceptional attention to detail with accuracy for information transfer verbally and data entry
  • An understanding of the importance of privacy and security
  • An ability dealing with customers who are under pressure to get problems solved

  • Successful applicants will be required to provide proof of identity and submit a national police records check.

  • All staff must comply with the Code of Conduct for Victorian Public Sector Employees.
