THE ROLE - ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The main responsibilities of the Accounts Administration Officer role include but are not limited to:

  • Process payables invoices and create new vendors.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Generate and send out invoices to customers accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with management to resolve payables and receivables issues.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments.
  • Maintain accurate and organised financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
  • Handle inquiries from clients and internal staff regarding financial matters.
  • Perform general office duties, including filing, data entry, and handling phone calls.

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven work experience as an Accounts Administration Officer
  • Multiple years in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable/receivable.
  • Xero, Excel, and WMS experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and willingness to work with a high pace team.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Handson experience with accounting software
  • Familiarity with advanced formulas in MS Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports
  • Ability to accurately process numerical data
  • Team management and negotiation skills
  • Problemsolving attitude
