About the Position
We are looking for a passionate and creative Marketer to join our team as our Marketing Officer.


Working alongside our Digital Marketing Officer, you will liaise with our business units to develop marketing/communications plans, content and promotional material for our products and services in line with our mission, service vision and brand guidelines.


You will look after the development and ongoing management of a range of collateral both digital and traditional including items such as signage, uniforms, flyers, merchandise, video and social media, liaising with our media agency and suppliers as required.


You will provide input into City events and liaise with the team and suppliers to organise our annual open day and member activations.


Your excellent writing skills will be put to use, producing a range of content for different audiences, on our website, corporate publications, videos, award submissions and reports, and you'll be hands on with creating and editing creative.

You'll provide input into our marketing strategy and planning, looking at our competitors and investigating market opportunities.


As the Marketing Officer, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Communications with relevant prior experience in a marketing role or similar.
  • Experience in developing and implementing marketing and branding strategies.
  • High level of writing, editing, analytical and communication skills
  • Intermediate editing skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop, InDesign and Premier Pro.
  • Experience in developing and coordinating the preparation of publications and promotional materials.
  • Experience in the recreation/leisure industry is desirable.
  • High level customer service skills and the ability to liaise and manage stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Experience working in a close team environment and ability to help the whole team succeed.
  • Outstanding computer skills, the ability to adapt to new technology and train others.
  • Proven ability to work and perform in a high paced, active environment.
  • Energetic and vibrant approach.
The preferred applicant will have a background in marketing or communications and a passion for providing dynamic marketing executions.

Salary:
$81,421 - $86,453 depending on skills, experience and qualifications.


Days/Hours:
The role is a full time, Monday to Friday, although some weekend work will be required at times.
