This expression of interest is for a role that will have you working for a major integrated port solutions provider in Australia.

This role involves heavy, physical, and repetitive work.

THE ROLE:

We are looking for individuals seeking shift work at Port Adelaide.

Duties for this role will include but not limited to;

These Operations specialise in loading and discharging general and bulk cargoes and other general duties.
Commodities handled include motor vehicles, machinery, steel products, containers, project cargo and bulk cargo.
Lashing and unlashing chains of the containers and materials
Shipboard and wharf duties
Packing and unpacking of containers, and other general duties
Performing maintenance and housekeeping tasks as directed

The successful applicant will need to be prepared to work an irregular shift pattern in a 24/7 roster.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Demonstrated safety behaviours and experience
Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
Good general fitness, and ability to perform repetitive and physical work safely
Flexible to work day & night shifts, as well as shifts on short notice
Must have an
MSIC card or willing to obtain
Manual Drivers License required
Forklift License and other HRW tickets advantageous but not essential
