Reporting to the Group Manager - Customer Performance, the
Product Manager - Data is responsible for aligning WesTrac and Caterpillar data offerings with business capability and market opportunities to enable sales.

The role oversees the commercial management of WesTrac/Caterpillar data products throughout their lifecycle including developing fit for purpose sales strategies and value propositions, implementing a standard Product introduction and business readiness process, and ongoing monitoring of product performance.

The successful individual will build customer analytical and data solutions that allow us to advise, support and manage customer assets to improve asset availability, productivity, and safety.

To ensure success in the market, the Product Manager - Data must prioritise work against clear outcome-oriented goals, validate customer and business values, and help build processes needed to reduce uncertainty that the product will succeed in market.

Location:
Perth Precinct (Perth Airport, WA)

Roster:
Monday - Friday, 8.5-hour days

To be successful the following is required:

Proven previous experience in earthmoving operations, technical or technology role
Leadership experience with proven ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams
Demonstrated adherence to safe working practices, policies, procedures, and risk mitigation
Strong critical thinking, data analysis and communication skills, including experience in market analysis, business improvement or studies
High level understanding of the value proposition of mining technology products particularly in the areas of safety, operations, maintenance, and autonomy
Strong knowledge of information systems, applied technology and equipment technology solutions
Ability to build and maintain successful working relationships through excellent written, verbal and face to face communication skills across a range of internal and external stakeholders, ideally complemented with some experience in marketing or sales
A proven selfstarter with strong time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively within a team, autonomously and / or remotely, across multiple sites
Knowledge of DBSi, Caterpillar systems (SiS etc.), Caterpillar technologies (MineStar, etc) and WesTrac business processes _(Desirable)_
