Our client,
Heavy Automatics (VIC) Pty Ltd, is Australia's Allison transmissions specialist. Established in 1990, we have workshops and dealerships in most of Australia's major cities.

Just Automotive Recruitment is assisting in the search for skilled Fitter Generals to join the team in
NSW. You are expected to maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.

$65,000-$90,000 PA depending on experience:

Location: NSW

Critical Responsibilities:

Workshop repairs and maintenance
New machine pre delivery preparation and inspection
Customer satisfaction
Safety / Quality
Cross functional support

Main Responsibilities:

Fault finding, repairs and services including but not limited to:

Diesel and petrol engines
Diesel, petrol and LPG fuel systems
Steering systems
Transmissions hydrostatic, powershift and manual
Brake systems
Hydraulic valves and cylinders
Electrical starting, charging and accessories
Service and diagnostic repairs
Liaise with spare parts team to determine parts required for repairs
To complete repair and services within reasonable time frames
To process workshop service/repair documentation on a daily basis
Work in a safe manner, use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided and comply with requirements of the current Occupational Safety and Health (OS&H) legislation
Other duties as directed
