In this role, the HR ERP Functional Lead will work closely with internal and external senior stakeholders to lead HR design and implementation activities.


This will include liaising with senior executives, HR business stakeholders, functional HR experts, program resources, other stakeholders and external vendors.


As it is anticipated that a Systems Integrator (SI) will be appointed to deliver the new ERP platform, the HR ERP Functional Lead is expected to work in conjunction with SI leaders and project teams to provide input, review and validation of SI deliverables.


Main responsibilities:

  • Lead ERP HR design and implementation activities across the endtoend HR processes
  • Lead the design of the new Job Architecture and Job Catalogue, including the hierarchy of roles, role descriptions, required capabilities and skills, and spans of control
  • Build and manage strong internal and external stakeholder relationships (including vendors) to enable effective and collaborative integration
  • Work with program stakeholders to provide input for crossfunctional solution design (including leading and facilitating workshops if required)
  • Work with People business stakeholders to develop detailed ERP process and system requirements
  • Provide "technical" advice to the Program Team and associated business stakeholders on HR ERPrelated issues
  • Contribute to HRrelated activities for internal change required to support the new ways of working utilised to deliver strategic outcomes
  • Participate and lead key parts of the software and system integrator vendor selection processes
  • Providing guidance and advice on the key program and project processes by offering constructive feedback and challenge on the proposed options and alternatives, and providing an independent view on the delivery risk profile
  • Participate in operating model design, detailed ERP design, configuration, data cleansing and migration, system integration, testing, training and transition management
  • Provide input to and participate in program governance forums as directed by the Program Manager (including Program Steering Committee, Program Management Group and Project Steering Committee meetings, communications and presentations)
  • Driving effective and efficient Program and Project delivery (including participating in and/or leading daily standups, sprints, retrospectives and other Waterfall and Agile delivery methods)
  • Identify, document, prioritise, manage and mitigate risks and issues (including being responsible for reporting and escalating items as necessary to ensure program and projects stay on track

The ideal experience:

  • 10+ years' experience in a program and/or project leadership role within HR ERP implementation programs
  • Experience leading Job Architecture and Job Catalogue design
  • Proven track record of delivering Digital HR Transformation programs
  • Experience in leading largescale Technology Change Programs through delivery and transition to businessasusual arrangements
  • Strong track record in managing complex stakeholder interests and expectations
  • Previous experience with multiple complex ERP systems implementations preferred (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Workday)
  • Operating model design (people, process, technology, organisation) and organisational design experience is preferred Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Workforce Development, Organisational Management) or an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience
