The Contract Coordinator, Campus, and Asset Services, is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational management of Campus and Asset Services contracts and services for Swinburne University of Technology.


This role is required to:

  • Ensure suppliers are meeting their contractual obligations including obtaining relevant business accreditations, liability and work cover insurances.
  • Report on the Campus and Asset Services performance and expenditure.
  • Manage the Campus and Asset Services Help Desk.
  • Ensure service requests flow through to suppliers appropriately in relation to the service contracts outlined above.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Monitor, control and report on the annual contracts budget for the CAS team on a monthly basis to identify possible savings and overspends.
  • Undertake research and data analysis in relation to preventative and reactive maintenance for campus infrastructure including preparing regular detailed business reports and making recommendations.
  • Implement and enforce plans and strategies for preventative and reactive maintenance to satisfy stakeholder requirements, create efficiencies, reduce costs and position the University to cope with future demands and expectations.
  • Working closely with procurement partners, support the procurement process by helping define specifications, development and maintenance of service level standards, negotiating contracts with external service providers, as required.
  • Evaluate potential suppliers using developed and agreed criteria to support alignment and understanding of the expectations and requirements of engagement.

Qualifications

  • A degree with subsequent relevant experience in Accounting or Business management, or any other relevant discipline; or equivalent combination of relevant experience in contract management and/or education/training.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of contract management practices and protocols.
