The opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in business unit conference and industry conferences organising where required and work closely with the marketing services team to ensure a seamless event;
  • Organise meetings, catering, dinners etc. for the team as well as international guests as required;
  • Work with Business/Marketing Managers, Operations Team and Suppliers to develop least cost solutions and strategies;
  • Assist Sales Managers with organising training sessions for Product Specialists;
  • Liaise with operations team (customer service, reverse logistics, warehouse, inventory, purchasing and technical services), on behalf of Business Manager, Marketing Manager, Sales Manager and Product Manager where required;
  • Establish standards, tools and procedures for use on projects; review project activities for compliance with procedures and standards;
  • Develop and coordinate Induction agendas for new staff;
  • SAP training and documentation as appropriate for business group;
  • Promote effective communications and working relations within the business and assist the General Manager / Business Manager / Marketing Manager / Sales Manager / Product Manager in meeting customer communication requirements to ensure customer satisfaction;
  • Assist with the integration of new agencies into SAP, marketing materials and general setup;
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of stock masters using the QF103 New Product Request Form and product supersessions through the Hub as requested by Business/Marketing/Product Managers;
  • Assist Business Manager, Marketing Manager and Product Managers with SAP serial number issues, stock issues, pricing, etc. where required;
  • Manage Business Unit pages on the Hub;
  • Produce nonstock purchase orders where required;
  • Assist and manage the usage of CRM within the Spine business unit;
  • Provide Business Manager / Marketing Manager with monthly sales and growth reports;
  • Other activities or business improvement initiatives as directed by the business.

Experience required:


  • 2 years' experience in a similar role is ideal
  • Experience in Project Management is desirable
  • Highly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a clear project plan and timeline
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Ability to manage confidential information
  • Highly selfmotivated and driven to achieve business results
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills and MS office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio
