Chaplain
Mission and Ethos StatementTrinity Grammar School is looking for a faithful, experienced, godly and gifted Christian minister to lead the chaplaincy team. The Chaplaincy team is responsible for the Christian ministry in the School community, serving the students, staff, parents, alumni and the wider Trinity community through preaching, praying, teaching, and providing theological insight and pastoral support.

The Chaplain holds particular responsibilities in carrying forward the School's mission to provide boys with a thoroughly Christian education in mind, body, and spirit.

Successful applicants will:

Be an ordained minister in the Anglican Diocese of Sydney, who is able to be licensed by the Archbishop of Sydney in accordance with the Anglican Schools Ministry Ordinance 201
Have a passion for working with young people and commitment to supporting their spiritual growth and development
Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across diverse communities
Understand the unique contexts and opportunities associated with independent school such as Trinity Grammar School

Compliance requirements

All staff at Trinity Grammar are required to hold, or obtain prior to commencement:
A valid Working with Children check
Complete an OCG Child Protection course
Full vaccination against COVID1
First Aid qualifications including CPR
