We are seeking a passionate and solutions-focused
Supply Chain Manager - Strategy to join our team. In this role, you will be accountable for providing technical expertise and leadership spanning multiple supply chain consultancy projects.

You will not only be managing project delivery, but partnering closely with our client stakeholders, developing our business portfolio and developing the team around you.


Role & responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering the project, client, commercial and practice outcomes from projects and/or workstreams lead and managed
  • Effective time management of self and project resources to balance workload with capacity to produce agreed project deliverables within agreed timeframes to required standards and quality
  • Accurate and timely forecasting and recording of time spent on clients, projects and tasks by self and project team members to enable correct, revenue forecasting, invoicing, planning and profitability analysis
  • Effectively manages operational, commercial or reputational risks across projects, escalating any issues identified to the LED/PM, as appropriate
  • Lead client project bids and proposals
  • Collation and curation of frameworks and compelling client case studies for client proposals
  • Establish and build relationships with current and new clients to support client growth and new business development for TMX.
  • Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and new clients, including actively pursuing onsell and cross sell opportunities from current engagements with the support of LEDs/AD's or other TMX service line leaders
  • Developing domain expertise, content and thought leadership for TMX
  • Support the recruitment, training, development and retention of high performing talent, including graduates and junior team members
  • Coach and develop project teams members in required skills, competencies, and behaviors
  • Provide timely, constructive and honest feedback and input to staff coaching conversations and performance reviews
  • Contribute to and drives a high performing, proactive, collegiate and empowered teambased culture within the business
  • Support and drive wellbeing, inclusivity, leadership and diversity within teams and across practice
  • Develop and support the creation, standardization and continuous improvement of methods, tools, accelerators, content and collateral

Qualifications

  • 7+ years' experience in a similar role (within major industry, retail/FMCG etc) or within a supply chain consultancy
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain or equivalent area of expertise
  • Strategic supply chain knowledge and experience of deep technical or domain expertise
  • Proven experience driving successful strategic projects through to completion
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring teams

  • A selfstarter with capability to work independently and develop oneself and others professionally within a business
  • Demonstrated advanced problemsolving skills, even when issues are complex and ambiguous
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Knowledge and experience interpreting business financial statements and developing project business cases
  • Ability to balance conflicting priorities to deliver against customer and business requirements, with appropriate stakeholder engagement and management
  • Effective communication, presentation, and system skills
  • Expert in Excel, PowerPoint, analytics (eg PowerBI/Tableau)
