About the role


Reporting to the Senior Manager, People and Culture, this pivotal role involves collaborating with CRCS's leadership team to deliver contemporary and value-added people-related services and initiatives across all aspects of People and Culture.

As the Manager, People and Culture, you will be responsible for overseeing various HR functions, including:
Recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes
Performance management and employee relations
People-related compliance

In addition, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and delivery of the organisation's strategic initiatives.

This will include conducting policy reviews, maintaining high-quality standards, driving effective change management, and embodying the organisation's values and culture throughout the entire workforce.

You will also play a crucial role in contributing to the organisation's overall success by fostering a supportive and engaged workforce, aligning HR practices with the company's strategic objectives, and promoting a positive workplace culture.


To be successful in this role, you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
Personal attributes of optimism, resilience, and flexibility
Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary HR practices and associated IR legislation
Sound experience in providing expert generalist HR advice, particularly in performance and employee relations
Highly developed relationship building and communication skills (verbal and written)
Demonstrated influencing and conflict resolution skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proven ability to contribute to the implementation of workforce initiatives
Ability to identify and assess risk, problem-solve, and recommend practical solutions
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a flexible team-based environment


Skills and Experiences:


CRCS also requires all employees to:

Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW), and have these with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.

Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment.

Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may effect their eligibility to work or perform the inherent requirements of their position

Maintain full COVID-19 vaccination currency and provide evidence of their vaccinations to CRCS (sensitive information is kept private and in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles) unless they are able to provide suitable evidence of a medical contraindication that prevents them from receiving this vaccine.
