With a focus on giving back to the community and providing an inclusive and supportive culture, this is a rare opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis.

About the role:

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the responsibilities of the role include:

Full-function Payroll processing on a fortnightly pay cycle
Calculations of backpays, terminations, and redundancy payments
Processing of Superannuation, Payroll Tax and Workcover
Award interpretation and working with Enterprise Agreements
Maintenance of Payroll employee files
Responding to Payroll related queries
Preparation of Workcover Insurance claims
Other ad hoc projects and tasks within the scope of the role.

About you:

To be successful for the role, you must demonstrate the following:

Demonstrated experience in the role accountabilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and organisation skills
You must work well to deadlines with strong time management skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Proficient with systems and experience using Time and Attendance
A positive attitude, aligned values, with a focus on giving back to the community.
