Description

We are seeking a qualified tradesperson or a skilled trades assistant. The applicant must have sound skills and knowledge in timber boat maintenance, repair and restoration.

The position will be casual to start with the option to progress to full time after a trial period. Wages will be negotiated depending on skills and training level.

• Strong work ethic with reliable attendance
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work in a team
• Follow direction
• Good understanding of safe work practices
• Attention to detail
• Energetic and motivated

Daily tasks will include but not limited to

• Timber repairs & joinery
• Surface preparation
• Painting and varnishing
• Antifouling
• Fitting of hardware and marine components
• Fibreglassing

Job Types:
Full-time, Casual


Salary:
$ $42.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Albion, QLD 4010: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
