Workplace Health & Safety Traineeship with Manly Hydraulics Laboratory:


  • Temporary full-time opportunity for 24 months:

Manly Vale location (perfect opportunity for a Northern Beaches resident):


  • 35hrs per week, Monday to Friday with one day being a study day with TAFE or similar:
-
$473.41 to $732.68/week + super (dependant on level of schooling)


Our Manly Hydraulics Laboratory (MHL) team have an opportunity for a Workplace Health and Safety Trainee to deliver efficient and effective customer focused administrative and business services with the Division.


The Trainee will learn the administration function of a NSW State Government office and assist with the daily operations supporting the Workplace Health & Safety function of MHL.


About You


To be successful in the role, you will have the ability to build knowledge of sector and Department business and administrative policies, systems and processes.


You will also have the capacity to manage work activities in a timely manner to provide a quality service and meet a number of day to day key issues and changing priorities.

You will be motivated and driven to maintain study timeframes to ensure successful completion of the course.


Essential Requirements

  • Certificate IV Work Health & Safety qualification (to be completed during the traineeship).
  • Must have drivers licence and own vehicle.

MHL manages Australia's largest coastal monitoring network and has been solving coastal, port, and hydraulic engineering problems since 1944.
