Job description
We are seeking a Specialist, Platform services to join our team. This team (IP) supports the execution of strategic objectives through facilitation and uplift of the IP System of Work.

This involves development and communication of IP business planning, collaboration and engagement with key IP stakeholders, and support of IP operations.

The team also drives delivery and communication of broader T&O initiatives into IP, reports against delivery of the IP Business Plan and other key operational and efficiency metrics and facilitates continuous improvement across IP


Key Responsibilities:


  • Recruitment Facilitation, Tracking, & Governance: Manage and own the internal IP recruitment process. This involves facilitating and enabling new recruitment from the Platforms hiring managers, tracking the progress of new and inflight recruitment, and providing governance checks on new recruitment (eg. ensure sufficient funding)
  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide reporting and updates against key IP metrics, including sourcing data, and developing new, and evolving existing reports
  • Drive IP Initiatives: Engage and collaborate with the IP LT & Extended LT (ELT) to identify opportunities and drive the successful delivery of initiatives which enable the IP Business Plan.
  • Continuous Improvement: Facilitate and lead continuous improvement initiatives across Insurance Platforms, such as Product Ownership. Identify and execute opportunities for operational improvements across IP.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, across all levels of the organisation
  • Experience with the IT and/or Insurance sector
  • Experience with data analysis and visualisation in Microsoft Excel and Business Intelligence tools (eg. Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with basic automation and/or programming (eg. in Excel Power Query, Excel VBA, Python etc.)
  • Tertiary qualification/s
  • Relevant industry or specialism qualifications e
