About us

The College exists to inform and enrich the Victorian judiciary by providing ongoing education and professional development and support to judges, magistrates, coroners and tribunal members.

Highly respected by the legal profession, the College helps judicial officers maximise every precious hour they can devote to education by carefully curating their learning experiences.

The College also brings judicial officers together so they can share their collective wisdom with each other, and connects them with leaders from an array of other disciplines who can offer different perspectives.

About the role

The work of the College's Judicial Education Team is organised into two streams: Knowledge and Skills, and Judicial Life; each led by an Assistant Director who will oversee a cohesive team.

Reporting to the Director Judicial Education, the Assistant Director is a critical leadership role in the team, and will lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive and balanced suite of judicial education in the Knowledge and Skills stream, which supports judicial officers to stay up to date and perform at their best.

About you
You will be energetic, outcome focused and capable of effectively managing a team. You must possess strong communication skills, be collaborative, be well organised and solutions orientated. You will be able to operate autonomously.
